I’m Brian.

I grew up in Traverse City, Michigan, went to college in Ann Arbor (Go Blue!), and lived in Los Angeles for just long enough to forever hate the winters in Chicago.  I love Star Trek and always order the Crispy Pad Thai with chicken from Cozy Noodles 'N Rice on Sheffield!

I’m an award-winning audiobook narrator and am working with some great companies like Tantor Audio, PRH, Brilliance Publishing, Simon & Schuster Audio, Harper Audio, and more! You can check out on my Narration page for all things audiobook.

I also co-founded StarKid Productions: a weird live-theater/YouTube production company. It all started with A Very Potter Musical, a Harry Potter parody musical that kicked off an incredible adventure for my friends and me.  15 years later, and we've created 15 original musicals, 3 national concert tours, 2 sketch shows at the Second City, and performed at countless festivals, conventions, and events around the world! 

Most recently I’ve been hosting REACH: A Space Podcast for Kids with my wife, Meredith Stepien!
