Go behind the scenes of StarKid Homecoming: the biggest reunion of StarKids ever! Over the course of three wild days, almost everyone who's even been in a StarKid show came to Los Angeles to celebrate a decade of A Very Potter Musical and StarKid shows. This featurette (unlocked as part of the 10niversary Kickstarter) takes you backstage and into rehearsals as the whole show came together.
Musical-Theater-Parody-YouTube Channel is one, clunky way to describe Team StarKid, but really, we began as a group of friends that just enjoyed performing together and making people laugh! Our initial success was when we wrote and performed A Very Potter Musical at the University of Michigan as students. After uploading it to YouTube and some viral success, we quickly established ourselves as a place for people to have a nerdy-good time, whether that was through our YouTube Channel, onstage in Chicago or LA, or at concert venues around the country.
I am a founding member, writer, actor, producer, and owner of StarKid Productions. That’s a fancy way of saying that we have to fill every role ourselves. We are also very proudly responsible for this meme.
